The Heart Truth: Women and Heart Disease (Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada) Given that heart disease is the leading single cause of death in women (50%), it is CRITICAL to adopt a "heart-healthy" lifestyle, and it is almost never too late to do so. Aside from the obvious issues of weight management, exercise, smoking cessation, and stress management, this website has valuable suggestions and resources to improve your cardiovascular status and is worthy of your study.
